Christine Nubla serves as morning traffic anchor/reporter for NBC11 Today from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. She also provides live traffic updates during the Today Show from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Prior to coming to NBC11 in May 2001, Christine was traffic reporter for KRON-TV in San Francisco. In addition, Christine hosted the Chronicle High School sports show on KRON-TV and Bay-TV. She was also sports reporter and producer for Bay-TV's 9 p.m. news.
Christine graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara where she started her broadcasting career as sports reporter for the "Gaucho Scoreboard." After graduation she worked for the ABC affiliate, KEYT, in Santa Barbara as sports reporter for "Friday Football Focus."
Christine was born and raised in the Bay Area, graduating from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo. She was also a competitive figure skater for 13 years. In her spare time, Nubla enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and attending sporting events.
