Kerling (Town on Perak and Selangor Border)

Kerling

A small town on Hulu Selangor district, nearby Kuala Kubu Baharu, very off the beaten path in tourism but I like this place. There's a oil palm estate road some 7km deep into the nature which I drove, called Kampung Kuala Kerling. Some nice Indian inhabitants around and aborigines. Chinese are mostly at the main road for business, the road was formerly the main important north-south highway linking Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh or Penang. Almost no cars coming while driving deep into the Kg Kuala Kerling. I saw some kids in school uniforms standing beside the road watching at me, they probably seldom see visitors. Picture here is a grocery shop somewhere on the way and I can see many single storey houses mostly inhabited by Indians. If you want to do some adventure trekkings or fishing, Kerling is a good location.
